Software License Agreement

Effective Date: December 2024

Between: Arseny Samolevsky ("Licensor") and You ("End User")

1. Grant of License

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Synapse application ("Software") for personal and commercial purposes.

2. Permitted Uses

You may:

• Use the Software for creating mind maps, diagrams, and visual thinking tools
• Export your created content in supported formats
• Use the Software for both personal and commercial projects

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the Software
• Use the Software for illegal or harmful purposes

4. Intellectual Property

The Software and all intellectual property rights therein are and shall remain the exclusive property of Arseny Samolevsky. You retain ownership of the content you create using the Software.

5. Privacy and Data

Your data is stored locally in your browser. The Software does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on external servers without your explicit consent.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. THE LICENSOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

8. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the Licensor resides.
