About NEPC Women Grant

Empowering Nigerian women in export businesses

Our Mission

The Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC) Women Grant Program is dedicated to empowering women-led businesses in Nigeria to participate effectively in international trade. With a total grant pool of ₦50 million, we aim to provide financial support, training, and mentorship to help Nigerian women entrepreneurs expand their businesses globally.

Program Objectives

  • • Increase the participation of women in export trade
  • • Provide financial support for business expansion and export readiness
  • • Offer training and capacity building for international market access
  • • Create networking opportunities with international buyers and partners
  • • Support product development and certification for export markets

Eligibility Criteria

  • • Business must be at least 51% owned by a Nigerian woman
  • • Business must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
  • • Business must be operational for at least one year
  • • Business must have export potential or already be exporting
  • • Applicant must be willing to participate in training and mentorship programs

Grant Categories

  • • Startup Grant: ₦400,000 - ₦1,000,000 for businesses looking to begin export operations
  • • Growth Grant: ₦1,000,000 - ₦2,000,000 for businesses already exporting but looking to expand
  • • Scale-up Grant: ₦2,000,000 - ₦5,000,000 for established exporters seeking to enter new markets

What is the application process?

Complete the online registration form, pay the ₦5,000 processing fee, await review (5-7 business days), participate in an interview if shortlisted, and receive grant disbursement if successful.

How will the grant be disbursed?

Grants are disbursed directly to the business bank account provided during registration. Disbursement is done in phases based on the approved business plan.

Is the ₦5,000 registration fee refundable?

No, the registration fee covers processing and verification costs and is non-refundable regardless of the application outcome.
