HObfus is a PHP library that allows you to easily obfuscate the HTML code generated by PHP. Simply enclose the code that you want to obfuscate inside a HObfus block and you are all set!

If you don't see any obfuscated code in the source code tab, it may be beyond the right edge of the browser window because by default, HObfus outputs 100 tabs before the code. In that case, you may need to scroll to the right to see it.

A.	HObfus requires PHP 5.3 or higher to run.

Q.	How do I obfuscate HTML code using HObfus?

Q.	Does HObfus support non UTF-8 encoded webpages?
A.	No, HObfus only supports UTF-8 encoded webpages.
Q.	Can I obfuscate a part of a webpage using HObfus?
A.	Yes, you can choose to obfuscate a part of a webpage or the entire webpage.
Q.	Does HObfus obfuscate the HTML code in the Elements tab of DevTools?
A.	No, it doesn't. However, HObfus has a bonus feature to allow you to remove all script blocks from the Elements tab of DevTools. It makes it very difficult to analyze JavaScript driven webpages such as Bouncing Emoji.
Q.	If I download a webpage obfuscated by HObfus, to a local machine, can I open it in the browser locally?
A.	By default, a webpage obfuscated by HObfus will not be rendered in the browser locally (the browser shows a blank page) However, you can disable this default behavior. To do so, you need to disable both $cfg["verify-hostname"] and $cfg["verify-protocol"] in the HObfus configuration file.
