Send Files
Keep this tab open while uploading and seeding.
Note: We do not accept folders—please zip or compress them first.
Drag & drop your files here (no folders), or click to select.
How to use: Drop files (or click to select), enter a password, and click “Send Files.” You’ll get a unique link. Recipients need that link and your password to decrypt the files.
Retrieve Your File
Keep this tab active until your file is fully downloaded and decrypted.
About nullsend
nullsend.wtf is a secure, peer-to-peer file transfer service that ensures your files are encrypted and shared directly between peers. We use AES-GCM (256-bit) with PBKDF2 (100k iterations), random salts, and IVs to secure a single password, providing maximum protection while still being easy to use.
We value your privacy. Keep the tab open during transfers to avoid interruptions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How does nullsend.wtf work?
A: nullsend uses WebTorrent in your browser to establish a direct peer-to-peer connection. Your file is encrypted client-side before being seeded; only those with the correct password can decrypt it.
Q: Why keep the tab open?
A: Closing or minimizing the tab can slow or halt uploads/downloads. Keep it open for best performance.
Q: Are my files secure?
A: Yes! We use modern AES-GCM with a strong derived key (PBKDF2, random salt, 100k iterations). Without the correct password, files can’t be decrypted.
Q: Do I need to install anything?
A: No. nullsend works purely in your browser—no plugins or apps required.
Q: Are there any known platform or browser limitations?
A: Yes. Certain operating systems and browsers have known constraints that may affect file size limits, background operation, or memory usage. Here are the main ones to be aware of:
- iOS Safari: Historically, Safari on iOS may crash or fail to encrypt files in-memory when they exceed ~800MB. This is due to WebCrypto and memory constraints. Splitting large files or using a desktop browser is often recommended if you run into this limit.
- iOS & Android (General): Mobile browsers can terminate or throttle background tabs aggressively, interrupting large file transfers. Keep the device awake and the browser in the foreground for best results.
- Desktop Safari (macOS): Similar WebCrypto memory constraints may appear for very large files. If you hit performance issues, consider using another modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) or splitting files.
- Incognito / Private Mode: Some browsers limit available memory or block certain WebRTC features in private mode, which can impact large file transfers.
- Older Browsers (All Platforms): Some older browsers may not fully support the WebCrypto API or WebTorrent. Keep your browser updated.
- Windows, Linux, macOS (Desktop): Generally handle larger files better, but extremely large files (multiple gigabytes) can still push memory usage high enough to cause slowdowns or tab crashes due to in-browser encryption.
- Network Restrictions: Corporate networks or certain NAT/firewalls may block or degrade WebRTC connections, preventing P2P transfers from working reliably.
