Welcome to Penumbrass, my personal site. This space serves as an archive for my personal writings, where I document my journey through current life events, ongoing therapy, and experiences in residential facility living. Here, I explore topics related to psychiatric help and living with trauma-caused chronic pain and illnesses. Through writing, I aim to process these experiences while also sharing my general interests and maintaining archives of my creative and personal projects. More to this site will come, as I will organize everything.
I also occasionally engage in detailed political discussions and analyses that some readers might consider 'radical' or politically 'problematic' (spanning various positions across the ideological spectrum). In these writings, I carefully examine and express my thoughts and opinions, drawing from my extensive reading of philosophical treatises, historical accounts, and political theory texts. These perspectives are formed through deep engagement with diverse viewpoints and scholarly works. When reading these entries, I encourage you to approach them with an open mind and intellectual curiosity, using them as an opportunity to challenge and develop your own critical thinking abilities and to refine your personal viewpoints through thoughtful consideration and analysis.
I go by Penumbrass online (keeping my real name private obviously). I'm a seventeen year old software developer college student who, despite being severely disabled and chronically ill, has a deep passion for history, particularly medieval studies. You'll also find me enthusiastically fangirling over classical European composers who are no longer with us, and if they were I would be humping their legs like a mutt in heat I think. I use Aspire A315-58, OS is Arch Linux x86_64.
I'd like to thank my best friend who has been there for me through it all, and has supported me and my interests to me through all my trauma and illnesses. I don't know where I'd be without him. I'd also like to thank my aunt, who has helped me and genuinely saved my life. Without her, I wouldn't be here anymore.
