Welcome to Haven Documentation
Explore the various features and functionalities of Haven below.
Getting Started
Welcome to Haven! This section will guide you through the basics of inviting the bot to your server, setting up roles, and configuring permissions to get started quickly. Follow the steps below:
- Invite the bot: To add Haven to your server, use the invite link available in the "Invite" section on the main page. Ensure you have the necessary permissions (Administrator or Manage Server) to add the bot.
- Set up Roles: Haven requires specific roles to function properly. Create roles such as "Admin", "Moderator", and "Member", and assign appropriate permissions for each. For example, moderators should have access to moderation commands like
!ban and !kick.
- Configure Permissions: Set permissions for your roles by navigating to the "Server Settings" > "Roles" section. Ensure Haven has permissions to manage messages, ban users, and assign roles as needed.
Moderation Commands
Haven provides a suite of powerful moderation tools to keep your server safe and organized. Below are some of the most essential commands:
!ban [user] - Bans a user from the server. You can optionally specify a reason by using !ban [user] [reason].
!kick [user] - Kicks a user from the server. Similar to the ban command, you can add a reason if needed.
!mute [user] - Temporarily mutes a user, preventing them from sending messages in text channels.
!clear [number] - Deletes a specified number of messages from the current channel. This can help keep the chat clean during active moderation.
- Auto-moderation: Enable auto-moderation for automatically banning or muting users who violate server rules, such as spamming or using offensive language. You can configure these settings under the "Moderation" tab in the bot's settings.
- Word Filtering: Set up a list of prohibited words or phrases. Haven will automatically filter out any messages containing these words, ensuring a safe and friendly environment.
Economy System
Engage your community with Haven's customizable economy system. This section covers setup, customization options, and command examples to keep your members entertained:
!balance - Check your current balance in the economy system.
!daily - Claim your daily reward. This can be set to any amount in the settings.
!work - Perform tasks to earn coins. You can configure the available jobs in the bot's settings.
!shop - View the available items for purchase in the economy shop, including special features like boosting or customization options.
- Customization: Modify the economy system's settings by adjusting coin rewards, adding new items to the shop, and defining how users can spend their coins (e.g., for role upgrades, special abilities, etc.).
Anti-NSFW Features
Protect your server with Haven's AI-powered Anti-NSFW tools. This feature helps detect and filter inappropriate content in images and messages:
- Enable Anti-NSFW: To activate the feature, go to the settings page and toggle the Anti-NSFW option to "On".
- Customizable Detection: Adjust the sensitivity of the detection system. You can set it to be stricter or more lenient depending on your server’s needs.
- Review Flagged Content: Any flagged NSFW content will be logged, and moderators will be notified immediately. You can view the flagged content and take appropriate action, such as issuing a warning or banning the user.
Troubleshooting
Encountering issues? This section provides solutions to common problems, from bot permissions to command malfunctions:
- Bot Not Responding: Check the bot’s permissions and ensure it has access to all necessary channels. If the bot is not responding to commands, check if it has been muted or restricted by role-based permissions.
- Command Malfunctions: If commands aren't working as expected, verify that the bot is properly set up and ensure the server's command prefix hasn't been changed. You can adjust the prefix in the bot's settings.
- Contact Support: If you encounter a persistent issue, reach out to Haven's support team through the contact form available on the support page.
