FAQ

-> Visit "app.mechnetautomator.com" and login using the provided username and password.

-> After logging in, navigate to the dashboard.

-> Then there are 3 Buttons for each account(/IG account). [ "Settings", "Target Data", "Stats"]

-> And 1 "Edit" Button for Devices(/phones)

-> We'll add the needed device(/phone) details. For that, click on "Edit" button beside your device1 (see below image).

-> Here, "Device Label" is Optional field. Its only use is to make naming easy for the user. You can put here whatever you like or whatever you want to call this device(/phone).

-> "Platform Name", Set to Android.

-> To get some of these other details easily, Install this "Device info" app on your mobile from this link and open it: "deviceinfo Apk. link"

-> Copy the value under Model and Android version from this app (see below image) and paste it to to "Device Name" and "Platform Version" fields in the below image respectively.

-> For now, Ignore the "Device ID (UDID)" field. (We'll take care of it in the last steps). And just Press "Update Settings".

## Now, we'll add other needed info, for that, go back and click on "settings" button under the account1 (See below image).

-> Here "Account Label" field is Optional.

-> In "Instagram Acc Username" put your IG account Username which you want to automate.

-> Set "Timezone" to same, which is set on the PC, to which the phone will be connected.

-> In "Select Selected Device", make sure the correct device (/phone) is selected.

HELPER APP

-> Now, once you've setup the settings on the server above, download the "Mechnet Automator.rar" and extract it.

-> Install "Nodejs" by downloading the latest version from here: https://nodejs.org/en/download/ (see below image)

And double clicking it and by clicking the usual Next-Next. Though just remember to Tick the below encircled setting during the installation process. (Setting name: "Automatically Install Necessary tools.") (see below image)
and also this will ask to run as administrator to install some dependencies via powershell.

-> And when that's done, run the app by Right-clicking on "MechNetAutomator.exe" file and selecting "Run as Administrator". (Please Run it as Administrator when running 1st time)

-> Next Enter the username and password (same as the ones used earlier to login on the server) and press Enter.

-> During this it'll check for dependencies and will install them if needed. It'll take a couple of minutes. After that it'll ask you to restart it. Just restart it then.

-> Then it'll ask which account you want to run (when this comes up, it means all the dependencies have been installed successfully) (see below image):

Here we can Just enter your choice and start running. BUT WAIT, as we skipped 1 setting earlier ("UDID"), we'll 1st set that now before proceeding.

further, as all the required dependencies are now already setup, which were necessary for fetching it.

For that we'll need to connect our phone to the PC.

##Connecting your device to PC.

->A few settings that needs to be enabled in phone's Developer settings to run the autommation, if available (if they're not available, then you can ignore these).

1. Enable Developer Option.

Step 1: Go to Settings Open the Settings app on your Android phone.

Step 2: Scroll down and select "About phone" or "About device" The exact label may vary depending on your device and Android version.

Step 3: Find the "Build number" option Scroll down to the bottom of the "About phone" or "About device" page and find the "Build number" option.

Step 4: Tap the "Build number" option 7 times, This will enable Developer Options on your device.

Step 5: Go back to the main Settings page After tapping the "Build number" option 7 times, go back to the main Settings page.

Step 6: Find the "Developer options" menu You should now see a new menu item called "Developer options" or "Developer settings". This menu may be located at the bottom of the Settings page or in a separate section, depending on your device and Android version.

2. Go to the last option called -> Disable Permission Monitoring -> enable it. in Developer Option (See below image).

3. Enable all the highlighted options in Developer Option (See below image).

4. Disable all the highlighted options in Developer Option (See below image).

-> Now when your phone is connected to the PC, run this "GetUDID.exe".
And copy the below marked Text into that "UDID" field (that we skipped in the above steps) and save..(see below image)

-> Now run the app again. And enter your choice when it asks for account selection for running, and press enter.

A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:

Make sure your Instagram App's Language is not set to anything other than "English".
If it is, then please change it to "English", else it won't be able to work properly.
(Note: Don't choose "English UK", it has different tags than "English" )

OTHER USEFUL SETTINGS:

(Nothing needs to be setup in account's 3rd Option: Stats)
(account's 2nd Option: TARGET DATA)

Here we need to add our Targets in "Target List" (1 per line), and select appropriate "Target Type" at the top. For example in above screenshot we've added some hashtags in "Target List", and selected "HASHTAGS" as the 'Target Type' at the top.

(Other Optional settings of account's 1st Option: Setting) (These are not essential to setup for getting started, but could be modified at a later stage, as per the user needs, etc.)
