A streaming platform?
Use SlideStream!

ㅤㅤㅤWe are PAVIL, a group of grade 10 students who wants to help millions of people who suffer from myopia. Our team comprises of Leuqas Yabot, Vin Bulacan, and Patricia Bulacan.

ㅤㅤㅤUnlike traditional meeting apps, SlideStream is designed to work entirely offline by utilizing local networks. This makes it ideal for environments with limited or no internet access, ensuring that users can still have a seamless and private presentation experience. Additionally, its simple connection method and efficient screenshot streaming make it lightweight and user-friendly.

ㅤㅤㅤSlideStream operates offline by connecting all users within the same local network. The host shares their screen by streaming screenshots every second to connected users. Each participant connects to the host by entering a unique code, which is generated by masking the last three digits of the host's IP address. This ensures a secure and straightforward connection.

ㅤㅤㅤThe app is built using Node.js, React Native for mobile devices, and Electron for the host application, utilizing web views to display the content seamlessly across devices.
