So the limitaion will be imposed by PHP or MySQL

In MySQL, the maximum integer "int(11)" can hold is:
2^(32-1) - 1 = 2,147,483,647

For a 32 bit computer maximum number the largest integer is 231-1 or 2,147,483,647 and the smallest integer is -(231-1) or -2,147,483,647.
