This guide will explain how to install pkShortURL in your website.
Unzip the product zip file you received onto your Desktop. You will find a folder pksurl and a file called .htaccess. Upload both of them to the root directory of your website. (If an .htaccess file already exists in the directory, do not overwrite it.)
Open pksurl/install/index.php in your browser. You will see the first page of the installation script, as shown below.
Click Start to start installation process.
In the second page, you will enter your database settings.
Fill out the form and click Next.
You will see the last page of the installation process.
The installation is now completed.
Click pkShortURL admin panel to open the login page of pkShortURL admin panel.
The initial username and password are admin and password, respectively.
